tasting notes
Back to a Burgundian-style of Pinot Noir from a beautiful, high-elevation hillside vineyard, aromas of red cherry, cranberry, spice, and herbs lead to inviting notes of strawberry, pomegranate, vanilla, and raspberry liqueur. It is a bright wine with well-integrated tannins. With bottle age, darker fruits should emerge, but if a vibrant Pinot is preferred, enjoy it young. It should serve the Thanksgiving meal extremely well, but dishes such as ribollita, vegetable stew, cioppino, and seafood gumbo would also work well. Please enjoy at cellar temperature.
