tasting notes
In the similar vein as the 2018, this approachable but destined for a long haul, is primarily a hillside fruit with high intensity and grip, tempered with valley floor Cabernet. Initial impressions reveal fruitier Cabernet Sauvignon that becomes expansive with aeration. Notes of blackberry, blueberry, dark chocolate, vanilla, sage give way to well integrated tannins and a long finish. No doubt it will gain weight with a little more bottle age. It is certainly another candidate for long term aging, though it shows so well now.
