tasting notes
Due to the fire in 2017, here is a wine that is a departure from most of our Cabernets, as this is mostly from the valley floor which reveals rich, ample fruit without the boatload of tannins of our normal mountain Cabernets. A long aeration is not needed as it shows well immediately. It is full bodied with blackberry, cherry, vanilla and clove notes, followed by a long silk finish. Perhaps this can be enjoyed in its youth while waiting for our older, higher elevation Cabernets.
